A !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! landed in my yard. Since then I’ve managed to organize it into some regular shapes. So far, a foundation(thanks for the help, concrete), floor, and 4 walls. I’ve decided the walls would look better upright, so now I just need some Amish to help me raise them.

Kinja'd!!!

I’ve posted all over craigslist, but so far, no Amish have responded, I may have to try facebook.

The weather has not been cooperating at all, as it has rained everyday save for 1, since the wood arrived. The temps have turned cold enough that I need to heat the damned air compressor just so it will DO ITS JOB.

Stay tuned to see how bad I am at roofing, and what Lowes has to say when I ask how much caulk they have.

You might want to try applying sacrificial pizza and beer. It worked for my shed.

You can stand walls yourself it just takes either patience or renting a couple wall jacks (used to be a framer before I took up welding). Attach blocks to the outside of the floor so the wall can’t kick off. Pop up the top-plate with a crowbar or something and get a block under that edge, then either proceed to use leverage and blocks to start working it up or get two wall-jacks (you can use one, but two is safer) and just start cranking them up. The jacks attach to the floor so they’ll hold the wall up while you brace it back to the floor.

Or as Lurktastic mentioned, go bribery mode. 4 people can stand a pretty long wall.

Yeah, that’s gonna have to be my plan B.

I was looking at wall jacks. Having not done it before, I’m not sure if it will work easily in my situation.

The siding is already on the walls, and it hangs over 7/8" on the bottom the cover the flooring’s outer edge. So I thing I would have an issue keeping the bottom in place on my own.

Bribery it is.

Oh, the siding thing do throw that out the window. You can space out the bottom stops but there’s a pretty good chance the siding would get mashed. Get some buds over.
